Feedback Self-Assessment Tool for Supported Accommodation

Description

This self-assessment tool is designed to help Supported Accommodation providers evaluate how well they collect, respond to, and use feedback across their service. Aligned with the Supported Accommodation (England) Regulations 2023 and the Ofsted SCCIF, the tool invites teams to reflect on current practice and identify areas for development.

It covers five key domains:

1. Feedback Systems and Accessibility – Are there inclusive, consistent methods for gathering feedback from young people, staff, and professionals?

2. Safety and Culture – Do people feel emotionally safe and confident to share their views?

3. Action and Impact – Is feedback leading to visible change and improved practice?

4. Participation and Co-Design – Are young people and others meaningfully involved in shaping the service?

5. Leadership and Inspection Readiness – Is feedback embedded in governance, quality assurance, and inspection preparation?

Each section includes clear prompts and a simple 0–3 scoring system, offering a structured way to reflect on both strengths and areas for improvement. The tool can be used for internal quality assurance, team development, or preparing for inspection.
