The Social Care Skills Supported Accommodation Training Programme offers comprehensive sessions covering the key areas of training presented by Ofsted in the “Guide to the Supported Accommodation Regulations”

The training sessions are:

• Safeguarding Children (6h)
• Health and Safety (3h)
• Supporting Young People (6h)
• Child Development (3h)
• Psychologically Informed Practices (6h)
• Supported Accommodation Regulations (6h)
• Legislation for Supported Accommodation (3h)
• Positive Behaviour and De-escalation (6h)
• Equality and Diversity (3h)
• Managing Supported Accommodation (6h)

An Associate is entitled to register up to 5 participants from their organization for each training session at no additional cost. Additional participants may be possible.

TRAINING CALENDAR
SCSkills will offer each of the 10 training sessions at least once every 4 months and will publish a 4-month calendar detailing the dates of upcoming training sessions with a minimum of one month’s advance notice. The Associate will be informed of the schedule and changes to sessions through email to the key-person.
