The session will explore how safeguarding is being reframed\, with greater focus on patterns\, prevention\, and multi-agency collaboration. \n\n\n\nThere will also be space to consider how these changes influence everyday decision-making\, direct work with children and families\, and the role of leadership and supervision in supporting consistent practice. The session is designed to prompt reflection and provide practical insight that can be applied across different settings. \n\n\n\nWho Should Attend\n\n\n\nThis session is relevant for anyone working within children’s social care\, including practitioners\, managers\, leaders\, and professionals involved in safeguarding\, commissioning\, or service delivery. \n\n\n\nIt is particularly useful for those who want to stay informed about sector developments without needing to engage with lengthy policy documents. \n\n\n\nMeet Your Host\n\n\n\nThis session is delivered by Social Care Skills\, drawing on extensive experience across children’s social care\, including residential services\, supported accommodation\, fostering\, and wider provision. \n\n\n\nOur work focuses on bridging the gap between policy\, inspection expectations\, and real-world practice.
